Undertook all property management during period 2007-15 of prominent mixed use office, retail and restaurant building, in prime location in Edinburgh city centre.

Initiated upgrading works for various suites in the building in past six months, that have resulted in most suites now being let and new rental income being generated. Actively involved in obtaining client consents and close liaison with building surveyor/letting agents throughout project being undertaken.

Main highlights :-

  • Prominent City Centre mixed use building of circa 30,000 sq. ft., with office, retail and leisure uses
  • Tenants include : Space NK, Whistles, Contini Restaurant, AJ Gallagher, FISSS, Nathaniel Litchfield, Net Talent, APUC and ADP Architects
  • Strategy to carry out upgrading of vacant space was delivered on time and below budget and has resulted in the re-letting of ,most of the vacant space within very quick timescale, to minimise void costs for client.

All property management undertaken for period 2007-15 of refurbished office building over three storeys and basement in Edinburgh City Centre.
Actively involved in the refurbishment works for vacant floor, when previous tenants vacated and close liaison with client/building surveyors throughout. Resulted in floor being re-let within a very short timescale to minimise client void costs. Works also undertaken to upgrade common areas and ran as service charge project.

Main highlights :-

  • Completely refurbished traditional building in Edinburgh city centre over five floors in total, extending to circa 22,000 sq. ft.
  • Tenants include : Scottish Futures Trust, Infrastructure Managers, Van Ameyde and Celica Marketing
  • Targeted upgrading of common areas was undertaken and ran as a service charge project

Management undertaken for period 2013-15 of prominent six storey office building close to Edinburgh City Centre in Exchange district.

Actively involved in targeted refurbishment of main reception and common areas as well as the upgrading of three vacant floors of circa 10,000 sq. ft. each. Letting secured letting of two floor on the back of works being undertaken. Close liaison with client, building surveyors and tenants throughout.

Main highlights :-

  • Prominent office building of circa 59,000 sq, ft. close to Exchange district
  • Strategy implemented to upgrade main reception/entrance and vacant floors has resulted in the re-letting of two of the floors and reduced client’s void costs. Works to common areas were ran through service charge
  • Tenants include, Lindsays Solicitors, Hudson, Mott MacDonald, Rapleys and Burcote

Management of prominent stand-alone six storey office building from 2008-15 on business park on the outskirts of Edinburgh.

Actively involved in upgrading of one vacant floor when tenants vacated that resulted in floor being re-let within fairly short timescale to minimise client void costs.
Targeted works also carried out to external fabric and to common areas all undertaken as service charge works. Liaison with tenants throughout to minimise and disruption.

Management undertaken for period 2010-15 of prominent eight storey office building close to Edinburgh City Centre in Exchange district.

Recently involved in initiating essential fabric repairs to roof, stonework and windows and ran as a service charge project. Total works costs circa £170k.Other works initiated for refurbishment of a vacant floor and also the re-cladding of one of the main reception/entrances to the building.

Main highlights :-

  • Prominent City Centre eight storey office building of circa 51,000 sq. ft. in total with secure garage/parking
  • External fabric repairs carried out of an essential nature, to maintain building and reduce health and safety risks. All works carried out on time and within budget. Cost also spread over two year period, to reduce impact on tenants
  • Tenants include : Carlson Wagonlit, Chiltern International, Scottish Legal Complaints, VOSA, Senvion UK

All property management undertaken for period 2009-15 of prominent Listed office building over three storeys and basement in Edinburgh City Centre.

Actively involved in the refurbishment works for two vacant floors, when previous tenants vacated and close liaison with client/building surveyors throughout. Resulted in one floor being re-let within a reasonable timescale to minimise client void costs. Works also undertaken to upgrade common areas to coincide with other works being done and ran as service charge project.

  • Prominent listed office building of circa 28,000 sq,ft. close to Exchange district
  • Major works undertaken to upgrade two vacant floors and also upgrade common areas at total cost of circa £800k.Common area works ran through service charge. Close liaison with client and building surveyors throughout as well as close tenant liaison
  • Essential roof repairs initiated and carried out as a service charge project, asking circa £100K
